Seaside Graffiti

Walking along South Beach at Studland, Isle of Purbeck on Tuesday, 13th September, 2011, as far as I could reach with the tide coming in,  I found a stretch of overhanging yellow and red sandstone near an old WW2 pillbox. The stone was covered in graffiti, mostly names, but also several cartoon-like carved faces.
